Hemlock Stone School is owned by OFG Education (Operations) 3 Limited and is a fully owned subsidiary of Acorn Care and Education Ltd, which is part of OFG Education, a provider of children’s services in the UK.

Hemlock Stone School has a dedicated management team under the leadership of Rachel Tunney. Oversight of school management is provided by Charlotte Niekerk, Assistant Regional Director for Options Autism, responsible to Ed Hall Regional Director for Options Autism and Richard Power  the UK Chief Executive Officer.

Richard Power UK CEO also acts as the registered Proprietor Chairperson for Acorn Care and Education Ltd.

Charlotte Niekerk is our Chair of Governors and also our Safeguarding Governor.

The management team is complemented by Group support functions covering Quality and Compliance, Admissions and Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and IT. Key decisions are referred to OFG Education’s Board of Directors, consisting of OFG Education CEO, David Leatherbarrow and CFO, Jean-Luc Janet, together with an independent Chairman and Non-Executive Directors.

In addition, the Group continues its robust governance through local governing committees, a national education performance board chaired by the Operations Director and an independent Safeguarding and Quality Committee with independent members. These governance groups meet every term.
